Family: Caprifoliaceae

Part Used: Buds, stem branches

Properties: Taste sweet, cold in nature

Actions:Buds: clearing heat-toxin, disperse wind-heat; Stem branches: clearing heat-toxin, freeing the network vessels

Usage:Bud: epidemic febrile disease and pyrexia, hemafecia due to pyretic toxicity, anthracia and furunculosis, pharyngitis and various infectious diseases; Stem branches: epidemic febrile disease and pyrexia, anthracia and swelling, hemafecia due to pyretic toxicity, rheumatic arthralgia.
